Resolved Question: How to let as many people as possible know Toyota Steals cars?

28 January 2012, 6:01 pm

I have a daughter Christina who is 23 years old with two children and pregnant. A car she has paid for with cash and has the pink slip was reposed by Toyota or more like stolen on Jan 25, 2012. Soon she will no longer be able to get to work and have to go on gov’t assistance. We had the DMV check the car when it was bought and again after this happen. No liens - she owns the car. The Hanford, CA Police department refuses to do anything or even file a report. Saying that Toyota filed a paper to have it reposed. A state law maker checked into and was told that POSSIBALLY two owners ago there was a lien. Possibly a lien. And because it will have to be a civil case to get the car back he is unable to do anything at this time but wishes to be keep informed. Unofficially high ranking DMV officials say that Toyota is way out of bounds. So now we seek help from anyone who thinks that this is wrong and can help her get her car and stuff back. This could happen to anyone. You buy a car, pay cash and Toyota comes and steals it in the middle of the night even though you have the pink slip and everything is legal. They even refuse to give her, her personal stuff or even her children’s car seats. There were no missing details, or loans taken out against the car, Christina paid cash for the car. The first thing I did was let her see one of my lawyers. After contacting State Assemblymen, Senators, DOJ, CaDOJ, FTC, Consumer affairs State and Federal, and many many other gov't agency's the story changed at Toyota and the car was returned today. Now all that is missing is 2 Days that she had to take off work for appointments & meetings, rental car fees for 6 days and legal fees to make it even, but not right. Not one person who has worked on this case can believe what toyota did. Story was, two owners ago, the person who owned it got it impounded Toyota had it repo'd and had it sold at a lien sale. Then for what ever reason they decided they wanted to sale it again and two owners later took it and tried. (as I was told by some high ranking people that made calls and looked in to it) Toyota had even said if we wanted it back take them to court. Before suddenly changing t... Read More »
